Ghosted Author: Sarah Ready Review: ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐.5 Spice: 🌶️ 🌶️ 🌶️ Tropes: - Soulmates - Forced Proximity - Billionaire Romance - Grumpy × Sunshine (kind of) - Happily Ever After Ghosted is one of the most unconventional love stories I've ever read. The story is about the ghost who mysterious appears in a peculiar apartment newly occupied by Jillian Nejat, a socially awkward and quiet woman. [TW: The book also touches the topics of grieving over a loss of loved one, forgiveness, off pages bullying and suicide.] Throughout the book, Jillian and Daniel manage to embrace the connection between them, eventually falling in love with each other. What started as Daniel's pursuit of helping Jillian in her life struggles ends with them creating a love story. Jillian's life in the book is in two parts, one which shows her life with Daniel, the sexy shirtless ghost, her struggles in both personal and professional life. Other shows Jillian's life after disappearance of Daniel & how she moves on without his presence in her life. The connection between Daniel & Jillian is explained brilliantly without any confusion or plot holes, and it just made the ending all more beautiful! Ghosted is a perfect package of humor, connection, chemistry and maybe few open door steamy scenes here and there. So, if you love a book with such vibes I'd highly recommend you to read this!
