For a clean romance this book was alright. I rolled my eyes a few times when "labored breathing" occurred, but otherwise A Bride Most Begrudging wasn't too cheesy.
So why the low rating? Because Drew was a jerk! Whenever they disagreed he'd yell and make Constance feel terrible, and if they made up, he didn't apologize; she let it go preemptively. At one point Drew yells at Constance that he doesn't want her to have his baby, and she runs away crying; he realizes that she mistook the statement but doesn't bother to clarify and later a disaster brings them together again---yech. The story would have been better if Drew was a nice guy.
