I was impressed with this book. Felicia is a school teacher who moves to Frenchman's Bluff to replace the last two school teachers who married off. The town wants to hope that this time it will be different, but the the past two teachers have put a damper on their ability to hope for such a thing.
I found this book to be mildly clever and well thought-out.
