The story revolves around a stranger, helping two stranded women stuck on the outskirts of the small town called Ruby Cove tucked away in Italy. Isla Beckett is an artist who was in Italy for a summer getaway with her bestfriend May Whitley in hopes of finding inspiration and lost spark so she can bring the artist in her alive again. Caio Marchetti is the rich handsome workaholic billionaire who owns hotels & foundation in Italy. He's completely smitten by Isla ever since he first laid his eyes on her and he wants nothing more than to make her his. Caio and Isla have that simmering chemistry that keeps you guessing are they gonna do it now or not? The pull and push between them keeps you on your toes throughout the story. While Isla is hellbent on being independent, Caio is adamant on showing her that she doesn't have to do it alone. So when it comes to proving his love for her, he leaves no stone unturned in showing her that she will always have his heart. Other than their romantic advances, the book touches the topics of controlling and unstable relationship with parents, and abandonment. The book has few open door steamy scenes, lots of swoony and cute moments, along with funny banter and emotional found family scenes which have my heart. I really enjoyed reading this gem of a book. So if you love a cutesy small town romance with a cinnamon roll, cat dad mmc go get this book!
