If I had do describe this book in short, I'd say it's dark, twisted, disturbing and filled with thirst for revenge and healing together. This book is the continuation of Beautiful Prey which follows the story into how Eve copes with separation from Emery and becomes the victim of same hell that he went through. And Emery, becoming the hunter, ready to tear the earth to reunite with the light of his life, Eve. This book mentions many disturbing topics in depth so please check the trigger warnings ⚠️ It was hard enough for me to continue through the book, not bc it was boring but because of what all those characters went through. I'm just happy to read that in the end they got their happy ending. It was hard earned but they get there.
