I absolutely adored this Frankenstein meets Oliver Twist steampunk novel! I don’t often dip into this genre, but I’m so glad that I did for Heartsmith! Filled with plenty of gadgets to tinker with, sassy friends, and a love interest with a penchant for the macabre and a good story lead, there is so much to love. I enjoyed the unique world-building and magical elements, and the sweet budding romance contained within the pages. OH! And you can’t forget Jazzy! She is the best doggo confirmed! I’m so glad that book two is releasing soon because MY that cliffhanger!!! I definitely look forward to reading more books from the author in the future!
