Matteo Rossi is all about cold and ruthless mafia don but underneath his cold exterior is a sweet tooth craving cinnamon roll of a husband who adores his little wife. Burdened with past traumas and fear of losing her he vowed to stay away from her but we all know how that turns out 😏 Sofiya Ivanova is suffers with Ehler's syndrome but despite her disability she is filled with optimism and is hopeful for her life until her father broke the news of her matrimony with the Don of Italian Mafia. Heartbroken with the news she thought her life was over. Little did she know she was in for a surprise. I loved the bond and the chemistry between them but what I adored the most was her bonding with her bodyguard. The way he took upon himself to be her unofficial brother and protect her with everything in him. It's just too sweet. Apart from this, I loved the whole protective and possessive husband persona of Matteo. He even got her a guide dog!!! What's with fictional men and them getting a pet for their women? 😭 Bc now I want one too (more like when do I not want a fictional man lol?) But yes for all my sunshine and grumpy trope lovers, this book is perfect!
