I'm still torn about this book. It was definitely what I would call a 'page-turner', but there were a few things that bothered me:
1. Everyone in Carey's new world seems to be quite well-off. It caught my attention, since no one but Pixie seemed to have any trouble obtaining any material thing that they wanted. It wasn't just a comparison from the woods either- when everyone attended the party, there was a piano room!
2. I guess to go along with my first point, there were a lot of things that just didn't seem that realistic. Ryan and Carey knew each other before she was kidnapped. He doesn't bring it up until the end of the story, but when he does, she remembers immediately.
Aside from these two items, I did enjoy this book. Be prepared to be startled, I think that the shock in revealing is one of this author's strengths.
