A foster teen finds home and magic on a mystical island school, uncovering a prophecy that threatens all magical beings.
One day, Ember meets an interesting social worker who brings her to her new foster family in Ellesmere- a magical island. As Ember begins to grow more comfortable in this new environment, she discovers a secret prophecy that dooms all magical beings on the island. Ember begins working to stop this dark force from coming, but darkness may be lurking closer than she thinks… When I first spoke to Brittney about this book, she told me her goal was that reading it feels like coming home.
