Lock Every Door - Riley Sager ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/ 5 I usually don’t read many thrillers or suspenseful books. anything horror/paranormal is usually not my cup of tea. I hear a lot of hype on this author so I decided to give it a shot.. and so glad that I did!! (aside the fact that I have been all too skittish and scared since I read it haha) I loved the themes of this book. The atmosphere he created was so dark and eerie. Every new piece of information left me so confused and having no idea what direction it was going to go in. the descriptions of the Bartholomew really made me feel like I was right there with Jules. the twists had me on the edge of my seat scared to death what would happen next. I will say I thought the ending was a little underwhelming and wished it would’ve went in a different direction which is why I didn’t give it 5 stars. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed it and will be reading more of his books! I really liked his writing style.
