It took me a while to get invested in the story tbh. The romance honestly wasn’t even my favorite part bc the characters were just missing some chemistry for me. But I loved the grief journey, the setting (with the dirty dancing vibes), and the friendships. Carley Fortune just knows how to make you feel nostalgic I think.Open door scenes: chp 15 & 17
