This novel has so many themes that I love wrapped into one! Enemies to lovers, forced proximity, amazing magic system, addicting plot, murder mystery, allll of the tension 🌶️! I did not want to stop reading. The way Samantha writes keeps you totally engaged and dying to know what happens next! The imagery is impeccable and you really feel like you're right there with them. The story and plot develops beautifully and is perfectly paced.
The characters were relatable and you can't help but love them. Elyse and Killian have the best banter. I miss them already and can't wait to do a reread! Please read this as soon as it publishes!! i am anxiously awaiting for the next installment😭🫶🏻 the best ending to a book I've read in a long time. 😬😬 Anxiously awaiting for the sequel!
