I can't believe that I haven't reviewed this book!
Well, I'm really a fan of Mr. Schmidt, and I think that this is my favorite of his books. Mr. Schmidt has this trick where he does not use a character's real name for a large part of the book, and you as a reader hardly notice. That is, you hardly notice until he does use it at a key moment.
I could not cope when I realized that this book had ended. I rarely have what is known as 'a book hangover,' but I feel as though it would accurately describe how I felt when I finished Okay for Now.
