Review: 3.75 ⭐/5 stars Once Upon A Broken Heart is an enchanting magical story of Evangeline Fox trying to find her true happily ever after, and a peculiar door which leads her to the Prince of Hearts where she wishes a happy ending for herself or should I say she makes a deal with a devil. Filled with magical tales and fantasies, the book takes you into an entirely different universe where magic, curses, tiny little dragons, and anything mystical you can think of, exists. Evangeline Fox is brave, filled with determination, and never out of hope & faith, seeks the Prince of Hearts for her happily ever after, from then on they both embark on the journey which takes many unexpected turns as we delve deeper into the book. By the end of this book, the pull & the chemistry between Jacks and Evangeline are impalpable. I can't wait to see what the author has in it for us in the next books! The reason I gave this book 3.75 ⭐ was Evangeline's sheer stubbornness and frustrating moments of stupidity. There were moments when I wanted to physically shake some sense into her. This book includes: - Fantasy, - Enemies to Lovers (kind of) - Suspense, - Mystery, - Romance. If you like a book with these tropes, then you need to add it to your TBR ASAP because I kid you not, this is something I have never read before, something so enchanting from the moment I picked this book.
