The first book in this series, Uglies, was a decent read. Taly story was relatable and the plot was intriguing. I'm immediately predjudiced in the case of the second book based on the fact that it's a continuation of a story, yet it doesn't bring any resolution to the already unresolved first book. This is yet another case of a series of books in which all of the books contain cliff-hangers. The cliff-hangers are designed to sell books, and I won't 'buy' into it.
