School's Out Forever (the second book in James Patterson's Maximum Ride Series) is very entertaining. I found myself reading it whenever possible.
These books hold some violence, but are clean and age appropriate. I've laughed at several of the situations/jokes, and I recommend these books.
As I told a friend, I enjoyed these books, but they are VERY YA, meaning that some of the humor is juvenile and some things are repeated a lot.
This particular book was both confusing and a bit choppy; the bad guys aren't always the bad guys, and other odd things mostly involving Jeb, Anne, and the school that the flock went to for awhile.
I think that Ari's narration could have been left out almost entirely. We know that Ari loves Max because Angel told her so, we know that Ari is jealous of how much Jeb pays attention to Max... I'm not sure that there was more to add there except perhaps knowledge of Max II, which we learn about when the Erasers attack the flock on the way home from school.
So yes, good book, I recommend.
