I want to love this book. In reality, I got through it. The plot is definitely interesting, and I’m intrigued by the concept and plan to read on.  However, the main character is somewhat frustrating and obnoxious throughout — she doesn’t seem particularly believable.Based on the quality of the book itself and the final few chapters, I’m still giving this a relatively high rating. I’m just hoping the next works in the series get out of the annoying obsession with cowardice that I was so sick of hearing about that I almost DNF’d…
