Debut? You mean that I can't get any other books from this author?
I'm not sure what was the most rich- the unfolding of the story, the characters, or the simplicity of it all. I'm still reeling from one very potent moment in this book. Also, I am in this mindset in which Toby is a real person that I care about, which makes it all sadder for me when I remember that he's not real.
Very well done.
(Not recommended for a more conservative reader, but very recommended for just about anyone else.)
