The Favor is a book about a businessman seeking marriage of convenience with his PA in order to get his trust fund & the valuables his uncle left for him. Dane Davenport is a cold & calculative businessman who doesn't do anything on impulse, for him everything is premediated. He's morally ambiguous and would do anything to get whatever he wants or in order to keep whatever he deems valuable even if it's his beloved PA. Vienna Stratton is just another employee in Davenport's company, his PA who has been working under him for years now. Seemingly indebted to her boss she has no choice but to agree to the marriage and fake dating when her boss asked her to return the favor. The book has perfect pace with how things progressed between the two, from their fake dating to their real closeness everything is near perfect. I loved how the author didn't encourage miscommunication between the two, given the way her characters are made. Their communication was *chef's kiss* oh and so the chemistry between them! Dane is such a sweetheart omg everyone needs one! And Vienna is a perfect blend of spitfire and sunshine. She is definitely one of my favourite FMCs!
