I don't know how to review this. It was both better and worse than I expected. I expected poorly written, so decent writing was a surprise. I expected a clean read, so the steam-adjacent tone was disconcerting. I didn't expect the occult-y turn at the end. I put it down because it was enough to make me uncomfortable.
