I didn't mind reading this book. I wouldn't necessarily recommend, either. It's about a man and a woman who accidentally get trapped in the mountains miles and miles away from civilization. Both are romantically committed elsewhere. Most of the book is an attempt to point out how they'll obviously end up caring for each other.
The reality is that what they survived is ridiculous. No one went snow blind, no one had hyperthermia or frost bite. There were several setbacks that I think were intended to relay how dire circumstances were, but honestly I think I understood that better than the author. ;)
