This would probably be fun as a quick halloween/spooky season read, but honestly I have mixed feelings? I think the vibes were there. It kind of reminded me of a mix between a freida mcfadden and natasha preston book. So maybe better for those newer to the thriller genre. But I also had the thought multiple times, “why am I reading this? is it even going anywhere?” and I don’t think I’ve ever felt that way about a thriller before
