🤯 Mind-blown
kind of shocked to see so many negative reviews tbh. I don’t give thrillers 5 stars all the time, but I felt this one earned it.

The story was fun, twisty, mystery-packed, and had a little bit of romance which was unexpected. I think my favorite part was the narcolepsy situation. It added something really unique to the story imo.

ignoring the haters bc I loved this one 😂👏

😊 Happy

I wasn’t sure how I felt about this book until I was in the last 20% — not because it didn’t keep me engaged, but because I wasn’t sure of what or who exactly I was supposed to be rooting for. I suppose it makes for a good thriller!

As I don’t read a ton like this, I can’t compare it to similar reads. However, it was a ride, that’s for sure. 😂

Some references to charged topics didn’t sit great with me, such as a fairly negative portrayal of the concept of having children, the comfort of a very close male/female friendship when both friends are also married, and one character’s willingness to consider abortion.

I also feel like there was an open question for me of whether or not the bad guy was feeding the FMC “medicine” that was actually making her sicker. Maybe it’s just me, but it didn’t feel like that thread was totally wrapped.

If you’re into thrillers with just a touch of romance, especially with no smut, you’ll probably love this!
