6⭐️ this was perfect. Catherine basically disappears (as in her social, license , and birth certificate are no longer valid) and has to go on a journey with her cute & quirky door-man to find her real birth certificate. Along the way she is also finding her real identity in life and sorting through things with her dad and absent mother, and her relationship to her work and how she views the world. Definitely a journey of self/discovery with a romance side plot. This is a no spice book, which was a pleasant surprise to me! If you liked the dead romantics or the seven year slip by Ashley poston, you’ll love this.
