Hirohiko Araki
Truly this has become one of the most compelling stories I have ever read. For me, I used to say my favorite fictional story was Ready Player One because of how relateable it was to me. Now I can say that has changed to Steel Ball Run.....AND I haven't even finished the story yet.

By far the fastest I read a single one of these volumes. It was so easy to read this book because of how compelling the story has become.

Loving the story and how it continues to show the development between the two main characters along with showing side plots that keep the story interesting and compelling. Gotta start Vol. 7 now!!!
Hirohiko Araki
Great start to the story. Follows a lot of the beats that I remember from watching the series. Definitely has a bit more depth than the show and is awesome. The only issue that I have is that there are names for the supernatural characters or villains that are altered only for avoiding a possible copyright claim. I understand this but it can cause the original premise of the character to be missed or can cause a missed plot point.

For those of you who have ever thought about reading any form of manga because you watched anime when you were younger, THIS IS PEAK!!!!! Everything makes so much since and I feel like everything is so deeply connected to how Araki originally envisioned his masterful world. For perspective, this is a universal reset. The whole universe having connection back to what Araki originally wrote back in 1987 blows my mind and I am so happy to hear so many familiar names and characters from that original story be reimagined.
