This is a fantastic horror novel reminiscent of satanic panic of the 80s when horror novels revolved around the devil.
I was a little frustrated by by the inclusion of modern American politics when they were completely unnecessary in a book mainly set in Scotland. I'm just so tired of fiction books that include modern American politics when they have no bearing on the story.
Otherwise I fully recommend this book if you enjoy books from the satanic panic era of horror
