There were able-bodied men who hid from serving during WWII and complained of doing their duty while a woman with a prosthetic leg continuesly went into the worst places to do everything she could in service to her country and France. I think the most amazing thing about her story is that this isnt even her entire story, there is so much of it that wasnt recorded due to the need for secrecy, lost to time or classified.
