Richard Beauchamp is a master of writing. I dread they day I catch up on his backlog and have to wait for his next book.
This Ozark Civil War era horror was so beautifully written. Horrific and dark and terrible. Each of the stories in the book built the overall story over a period of time in a way that really built the horror of what was happening and the history of the scene.
Fully recommend this as I do all of this authors work
