This might be my favorite book by LaRocca so far. It's not as weird as many of his other books I've read but its dark and the writing is beautiful. I'd warn against reading this if suicide and grief are hard topics as this book deals VERY heavily in both but I rather enjoyed how LaRocca wrote them.
