The entire book I could've sworn this was fiction based on a true story because going in I knew it would be fiction but it seemed so damn real. Even the ending felt real to me. Then Chizmar explains in the Afterward how they pulled it off with photos of the crimescenes and everything and any question of if this was a 4 or 5 star read for me got solved. To go thru that amount of effort and PULL IT OFF immediately gets a 5 star because I was impressed af. I loved this book and fully recommend if you want a fictional book that reads like true crime... and that'll have you questioning if it really happened.
