So I found much of this book worth reading. I personally am not Catholic but understand how others view their faith and live it I believe is important as a Christian.
I thought though that much if not all of Chapt 11 was unnecessary. This is a book about his faith journey and Chapt 11 was devoid of that imo and was instead about politics. Politics do matter as he is a politician who has to balance his faith, what the people he represents want and the requirements of the office he holds. However I feel like if he wanted to do a book on faith and politics that could be an entirely separate book.
Otherwise I did enjoy learning about how faith has influenced his life over the years, how faith has influenced his opinions, and his journey away from Christianity to Atheism and then back to Christianity in the form of Catholicism.
