You ever read the rest line of a book and just go "these dumb fucking idiots"? Because that epilogue definitely had me cussing out some characters.
I originally bought this because I saw the name Butcher and thought Jim Butcher had started writing a new series (which yay, but also where's the next Dresden Files?) But I then learned it was his son's debut book and interested to see how he did.
While I can definitely see the influence of his father in his story telling style and subject, James still wrote an amazing fucking story and I can't wait to get book 2 from my library. Grimsby and Mayflower are the perfect pair, and I absolutely loved Wudge, so I'm hoping he's back in book 2.
