The first half-two thirds of this book seriously had me debating just quiting. It was just misery misery misery. That last third? Was the saving grace of the book. Its when we finally got something other than woe is me. So if you want a book of dread and the world is falling down around me but that finally gets somewhere in the last half of the book then reas this.
