Watching Gabby realize 2 things can be true at once was fantastic. Yes, her parents were not who she thought they were but they were still amazing and loved her. Yes, she had a sister and family she didn't know but that didn't mean she had to give up the parents that raised her.
I also loved Isabella heal. She spent so much of her life searching for something and was finally able to heal the hurt that search ultimately was a large part of.
I was a little annoyed with how cleanly everything was wrapped up in the end. Maybe I'm just too much of a thriller/horror fan but it felt too perfect and happy... that is pssibly an entirely a me issue and I do think this is a fantastic book of 2 girls finding themselves, connecting with their roots and healing
