Bumping my rating to 4⭐️. Even though there were flaws my overall feeling while reading warmed my heart. I loved the dragons and the banter between all the characters was great. Sucks that Dain gave me Tamlin vibes. But we love a dark and broody man with the darkness to back it up, Xaden you are the man. Also I enjoyed that the FMC was “flawed,” in her eyes and by the worlds standpoint but ultimately that she pushed though. I really enjoyed this book! I liked how the world building was done throughout the story, I loved the tension between Violet & Xaden, I enjoyed the battles and how sassy Violet's dragon was at times BUT I feel like something was missing. However, I am so excited for the next book!
