This was such a fantastic creepy little novel. It does a wonderful job of telling a story very very loosely inspired by Italian neo-paganism. Jazlen weaves together a little town out of mist and rocks threatened by creatures capable of destroying all life... but maybe they aren't as dangerous as they appear? This small book is well worth a read if you enjoy witchy and occult based books. I can't wait to see what else Jazlen writes if this is her debut.
