What was that ending?!? I seriously loved this book, Koontz as always shows how amazing he is at keeping you caught up in the story.
I loved Odd as both a character and a narrator. He's such a unique guy and the way he thinks about life was fantastic. His love for Stormy was beautiful too. How blessed he felt.
That ending though wrecked me. Everything was going great, all the puzzle pieces fell into place and then Koontz had to destroy it all. The book doesn't end in a cliffhanger, thank goodness, but the ending left me aching and is what took this from a 4.5 to a 5 star because if you can wreck me that suddenly and easily? You did your job.
