I don't remember specific on how I felt while reading this book, but the high stakes enviornment and the crap that Carl and Donut have to deal with is not for the weak. Katia was not having a good time, and Eva really screwed her over with that crown.

5⭐️ This was soooo fun. Definitely one of my favorites in the series. I love that the stakes keep getting higher and we get to see Carl’s passion and humanity. Content warnings: As a Christian I just want to point out some things to be aware of. There is a lot of cursing. An excessive amount honestly, in this one especially. There are crude/sexual jokes and innuendos in every book. Very slapstick humor. This one especially leaned into the “gods” and religions. It almost ventured into uncomfy territory for me, but in the end I felt okay continuing!
