🤯 Mind-blownThis book was....so confusing. But also riveting. I couldn't stop listening. It was also slightly creepy and I was hesitant to read it in the dark LOL. At the end, I honestly felt very confused and I tend to hate ambiguous endings, so I have no idea what actually happened. But I enjoyed the ride.
As far as the occult warnings on this, I felt okay reading it as a Christian because it seemed very nonsensical and crazy, not like it actually held any power.

Kliewer had a way of writing that will have you seeing things out of the corner of your eye... and I wonder why I'm jumpy sometimes working nightshift after reading books like this 😅
Fully recommend if you want a story creepy on all accounts. The ending was kinda devastating but fit really well with Kliewer' overall style.
