This was fantastic. This is labeled a mystery novel but it also has a side arc of romance if you enjoy that.
I absolutely loved how Ross tackled PTSD in this book, how PTSD can lend itself to so many other mental health issues and you have to learn to live with and work with those things.
I kinda saw one of the little plot twists coming but Ross did such an amazing job handling how our FMC, Gabi, handles it that I was invested the entire time.
Overall, I fully recommend for a fantastic mystery with a side of romance.

The dog does get hurt and briefly it looks like the dog is dead but she survives! Had to add that as a side note because I almost quit the book when I thought it was killed
