After how amazing Nothing Tastes As Good was I knew I had to give the rest of Dumas' books a shot. While The Paleontologist didn't hit as well as Nothing Tastes As Good, I still really enjoyed it. It very much reminds me of the feeling I got while reading Jurassic Park.
Typically I avoid books set during the pandemic because I lived it and am so tired of it. I'm glad I gave this one a shot though. While the pandemic was a prominent theme Dumas did a fantastic job making it just another part of the story and not the main focus like I've seen from other books.
I also very much enjoyed the ending. I don't want to spoil it so I won't say anything more than the fact that it wrapped the story up nicely
