You ever Google a books location in hopes you can go explore it? I definitely did that with this book. I haven't read a good paranormal book like this in awhile and Johnny does a fantastic job of spinning real world history with fiction to create a place that I was googling in the hopes I could go visit and severely disappointed myself when I learned it wasn't a real place.
Eric is just doing everything he can to take care of his daughters who have been thru something traumatic and if that means he has to stay in a Spite House? Then so be it. Because he'll do whatever it takes.
