I was lucky enough to receive an ARC of this book, though it took me a bit longer to finish than I would have liked. Overall, this was such a whimsical and enjoyable read! I really loved the main characters, and the cat absolutely stole the show with its sass! While I wish the story had been a little longer and featured a more developed plot, it was still a sweet and satisfying second chance romance. The touch of mystery woven throughout the story added an extra layer of intrigue and kept me engaged until the end If you're looking for a cozy clean romance with fated mates, forced proximity, and a hero who falls first, this is definitely worth picking up
