I empathized with all the characters, but at the same time they felt so far away from me and the two storyline are interesting yet a bit confusing. Let's if it changes in the second installment! Veronica Lancet's writing style is really particular, but it worked perfectly in this book! ... This is the first book I have read from this author, and it won't be the last
