So I really enjoyed the overall story. It was kept me wondering what actually happened to Douggy. While I didn't love any of the characters I definitely was rooting for Gracen and Quinn and hoping they would pull thru.
Now, the pacing for this book was not great. It was really slow the first half/two-thirds and didn't quite build suspense like I would want from a Mystery or Thriller.
The 3 different povs didn't help the pacing either since there was no engaging the reader in the mystery and giving the reader any chance to figure out what was going on.
I also had slight issue with inconsistencies. For example torward the end of the book a character sends a text on their phone while at the hospital and then thinks about how they need to get their phone and belongings from the place they were staying at.
Overall, enjoyable plot and story but the pacing and consistency needs some attention.
