This felt so half-assed. Its supposed to be an MC romance yet the "MC" feels barely fleshed out. They keep referencing before Wolf left to start the Reno chapter but we barely actually get any of that info. According to other reviews theres a lot of background information missing because while this is book 1 in this series its actually the follow up series to Morningstar MC series and you kinda need to read that to understand this.

The romance also felt super fucking quick. Like, Wolf, as a prospect btw, left 6yrs ago to start the Reno chapter suddenly finds out he has a son, shows up wanting the fmc again and she's dropping the guy she's been dating for about 6yrs but never slept with to be with Wolf?!? Very little groveling from Wolf? Stupid easy.
