I didn't need to know the color of EVERY character's pubic hair, but thanks anyway, I guess!
It took about 3/4 of the way through for the story to actually get where it needed to go, and as soon as it got interesting, he decided to put in a rape scene that turned into body horror and a sexual scene involving an underage girl. To top it all off, the ending wasn't even satisfying. Yikes.

I had such mixed feelings about this book when I started it. The way these women are so damn friendly in the beginning and accept complete strangers in their home irritated the fuck out of me because how naive are you? The way the men talked about and to their wives just pissed me off... but then about halfway thru it started to come together, and while it's still not gonna be a favorite of Hendrix books for me, I really do enjoy it and how it wrapped up.
