I had such mixed feelings about this book when I started it. The way these women are so damn friendly in the beginning and accept complete strangers in their home irritated the fuck out of me because how naive are you? The way the men talked about and to their wives just pissed me off... but then about halfway thru it started to come together, and while it's still not gonna be a favorite of Hendrix books for me, I really do enjoy it and how it wrapped up.
